The SCAO will sponsor a 2 hour ABO approved Basic Lensometry Workshop (cost $75) on August 8th starting after the regular Opticianry hours, approximately 1:00pm. There will be a limit of ten participants per class. Each participant will have hands-on instruction with their individual lensometer. We will learn how the lensometer works and then read and measure single lenses and full pairs of single vision, bifocals, and progressives. We will end with measuring basic prism.
